Traditional remedy to “CORONA VIRUS” through religious SCRIPTURES of India
There is an authentic reference to the Corona Virus in our ancient Hindu scriptures.
As mentioned in “Utpatti Section” of the Hindu Scripture “Yoga Vaasishtam” (which
is basically a conversation between Lord Sri Rama and Sage Vasistha) a demon by name
“KARKATI”, has performed penance, invoking Lord Brahma and got blessed with a boon.
The demon is blessed to take form of a deadly disease, which enters the bodies of other
beings on the earth, through their noses, into their respiratory system and thrive on them
by sucking their blood and finally kill them. So, the demon “KARKATI” is nothing but the
Corona (COVID-19) which is playing havoc on the mankind across the globe.

In one of India’s great philosophical texts, the Yoga Vasistha( योग-वासिष्ठ)
by Valmiki, there is a story about a demon called Karkathi. Karkathi went to Lord Brahma to ask for a boon to kill humans by attacking them through their nose and paralyzing their lungs. After completing the required offerings to Lord Brahma, Karkathi was granted this boon. Since this time Karkathi has continued to attack humans through the nose and lungs.

Viruses have plagued humanity since Spirit embodied in the physical form. India’s ancient sacred texts provide answers to all of humanity’s problems including viruses. Pandit Samavedula points out that the Yoga Vasistha records not only the cause of the disease, but also the remedy. Lord Brahma clearly described the remedy for Karkathi’s attack and Pandit Samavedula wishes to share this with everyone.
