The truth is China is a powerful country, capable of handling a war with India with ease. India will fight back, but basically is at a defensive position as of now because the Chinese have come close to blocking our developments at Galwan. This current stand off point enables them to have an overview on India’s road Incase of hostilities.
Now how they reached so close and now inside our territory baffles me. It’s been a bit soft, our approach over the years. Today I hear that they have brought equipment and guns and tents which effectively means NO GOING BACK.
And on top, these new developments in Nepal, the CPEC corridor in POK….China is ensuring that India is looked upon as an unsafe place to invest. And factories intending to move out of China and use India as a new location will be wary.
So a thought out strategy is in place. Else during covid this skirmish wouldn’t have taken this shape. They do have designs to give the world an impression that India, Vietnam, Malasiya, South Korea, Taiwan are high risk places to invest.
So a double edged sword hangs above us. We need to think and plan hard before we move. But, there is no going back now.
Economically we must destroy china. No new investments. New alliances Relocate international factories here. But be proactive. Start now. Create those zones asap where big industries can just relocate and plug and play, literally.
Recognise Taiwan, Tibet and Hong Kong as countries.
Attack POk as their routes that lead to Pakistan, and billions of investment there, goes through there.
Support a military take over of Balouchistan, in the way we helped Bangladesh.
Covid can’t be an excuse. Departments are handling that. Let’s focus on this as these designs make india weak.
We need to act in a very decisive way. I’m sure the current dispensation is doing the required planning.
Looking forward to a greater BHARAT, always. I stand by BHARAT and it’s super ARMY.
#jump foods When more than 1000 soldiers clash, whether with clubs sticks or baseball bats, 20 or 30 or 50 is a low figure. In the narrow gorge that defines the terrain at the point of contact, chances of soldiers rolling down into the river and getting washed away are reasonably high. Expect more casualties on both sides and that is one part of the story.
Looking beyond, the perpetual bully called China (whose 60pc territory today actually never belonged to him) is talking about ‘No War’ within a few hours of getting a bloodied nose and that is something unprecedented. Those who follow Chinese closely, would get the point being made. Indo-China war will not happen! China is in no position to wage a war with the whole world, except two rogue nations, staring Chinese in their slanting eyes! Now the question is if war was not the motive, why did it happen after the issue had been discussed and decision had been taken a few hours back to pull back! For China, it was a gamble that had to be taken. After the bashing that the top leadership received post withdrawal and climbdown in Doklam, another similar withdrawal would have put the Chinese President on a barbeque. At the same time, with the CPEC compulsion forcing China to do something esp after 370 abrogation, they took a gamble. They were playing on usual Indian response of exercising restraint.
But there is no one as unpredictable as a man and when two battalions are facing eachother, anything could happen and somewhere, the control over the ploy was lost by the Chinese. Their one-child policy has led to a generation of AC-reared pampered kids who form their forces today. Those softies were never expected to match up with Indian soldiers one to one to start with and it got proved in less than two hours. Six hours later, Chinese were calling Indians for talks! Had Indians taken it lying down, China would have declared itself a Victor after the stand off. Loss of life is sad but soldiers take it with a sense of pride. My only regret is the compulsion on them to fight in a way that identifies with the stone age. No one knows for sure what kind of Indian response will follow since as per the reports till now, Chinese had started it in the first place. India giving it back hereafter may or may not happen. But I have a feeling that this moment will define our future relationship with China. China has lost the plot and the dominating position that he has always been very proud of. Chinese talking peace, so soon after a skirmish, is unusual and it tells us a thing or two. Govt will do what is supposed to be done; soldiers will fight when ordered but the first thing that all of us can do is to boycott the Chinese crap from today itself. We don’t have to throw everything out but we must stop buying Chinese goods! Rest will be taken care of. Wars are won when a nation fights as one. Let’s play our role!
RIP Sushant Singh Rajput … loss of a young talent and a brilliant human being. Of bollywood film industry commited suicide…
We should address our problems whether it is headache or anxiety. And like there is no shame in going to a physician, visiting a counsellor or psychiatrist should be encouraged and accepted by society at large.
The non-disclosure of emotional pain or not seeking help can be deeply traumatic. If untreated, it can lead to depression or harming oneself.
Let’s open our hearts, zip our tongues, broaden our perspective, create awareness and hand-hold the ones in need!
So do I think the Cold War ever ended? Not really The new Cold War is on, as we speak. China fronts it.
Do you know that the Spanish glue that killed almost 20pc of the US population and around 80 lakh indians, had a conspiracy theory buzz that it originated in China? Well it was never proved just like corona will never be.
But China has its plans in place Deng had coined a phrase “hide and gather ur strength and bide ur time”. And china did that.
When deng and Kissinger ended their anti each other stands, china invited them to their country to take advantage of cheap labour. India could have done that too, but we were aligned with Soviet Union. So much so, that eventually Russia decided Shastri is not the right PM and he died rather mysteriously and Mrs Gandhi took over to continue the Nehru style of running the country. How I miss Subhash Bose!!
Tell me, how come during emergency, our constitution was changed to Secular and socialist? U mean we were not secular prior to the emergency? And socialist? Really? To please the Russians?
And all these years and decades, the evangelists continued their conversions and Nehru didn’t bother?
Well we can discuss for ever. Now, we finally have a leader who can change the narrative. India is no longer a pawn in the hands of other countries.
And the new narrative is obviously upsetting so many people jinki dukaane chal rahin thi. Fake NGOs, fake maoists and communist agenda wale, left leaning….
Thank God he is the PM at this time when a new world order will emerge post covid. After the First World War America emerged as a super power After the Second World War, china started its growth And now post covid, we will see new alignments, new arrangements and by the looks of it, India stands to benefit if we can handle internal And external politics better than the congress have done.
We need an iron hand and a hard fist. And it’s there. I see India gaining from this new world order.
Directly it is not possible for Europe or Australia or even india to challenge china. It has to be an indirect war.
We need to build up our resources. We need to ensure India prepares in advance as the best option for big industries looking to relocate from china.
And china knows this. They are meddling around. And look at their aggressive stand post covid. Hong Kong brought into their ambit through the new law when the handover has clearly stated that for 50 years china will not change the situation in Hong Kong. Then sinking the Vietnamese ship in South China Sea. Their open aggression against Taiwan, Face off with malaisya and South Korea, pushing pak and Nepal against india and themselves entering doklam sometime back and now again in Tibet. Targeting Australia….
All this during covid. A world condition attributed to them.
China doesn’t work on emotion. Their current leader has granted himself power till he is alive. Just like Putin.
Surprisingly when America invited india to be part of G7, Russia rejected it this time!!! And china repeatedly vetoes our security council seat.
China sees other countries as weak but thinks of india as a competitor. They will continue to needle us and try and strangle the South China Sea, blocking our vessels travelling to the west coast of usa where 40 pc of our exports to that country go through.
We didn’t handle Nepal Well. And once King Birendra and family were eliminated, and surprisingly, not much is known about who did it, Nepal fell into the pro communist hands. The current leader Oli is a china pawn. Hence we are facing trouble there too. Not much of a worry, but it’s China needling our neighbours. As soon as the king was killed and this communist Govt came, the anti conversion law was abolished. A law that had held Nepal together. The closely held culture will soon vanish. As now it will be impossible to dislodge the china backed team. India lost a chance to control there.
I think check mating china is only possible by attempting to get back POK. China has lots of investment in Pakistan and the CPEC route goes from there. That is what we should target.
But covid has made countries busy. And also shattered their economies. Europe and usa are so badly hit that they are in no position to challenge china openly.
So far, China has made the best out of it. Although their own exports are currently down by 50 pc almost. But they have very cleverly over the years, focused on gathering rare earth commodities. All the rare material req for electronics, steel, raw material for anti biotics… all comes from china. They got into the right stuff. And currently they are perhaps marginally behind usa as a super power. So knocking them easily will not be possible. We need to allign well. Japan South Korea Australia usa and india is a combo that will unsettle them. Japan and South Korea are bordering them. North Korea is their dummy state. So is Pakistan now. Don’t be surprised if they slowly get into the insurgency that Pakistan creates in india. We need to be prepared
It’s my observation after hearing reading and following people with experience speak, and learned army men discuss on platforms.
I’m sure a lot is happenning behind the scenes that we don’t know and as citizens we are not supposed to know too. And I say so, only because I believe in the man leading india during these times. And his team headed by Amit Shah and Doval.
I want to see India emerge as a much bigger country post covid. And I can see it on the horizon. Let’s not miss this chance.
Ever since the closure of schools following the lockdown, I have been feeling a strange awkwardness in being a teacher. The whole hue and cry over the school fees ( to be paid or not) has led to an uncomfortable feeling in the heart and head of a sensitive teacher like me.
Suddenly a teacher’s work and worth is being made to look directly proportionate to the school fee being paid . This part saddens me. This lockdown made me realise that teachers are still many many miles and mindsets away from ever getting their due. The closure of schools was immediately looked upon as though teachers had suddenly decided to sit back home and have a “Khushi time holiday”.
However, the online classes initiative by all the schools was undertaken on almost a war footing and the teacher was back in action , though on unfamiliar territory! People not even for a moment sympathized with the predicament of the teacher.
We were pushed into a situation we were never prepared for. But a teacher being a teacher rose to the occasion and today I can proudly say that most of the teaching fraternity is handling the online classes with considerable ease and creativity! Parents who sit in the virtual classes with their children have a great responsibility. The social media is abuzz with parents criticizing teachers at the slightest reason.
This saddens me so much. It’s as if a school fee is enough to buy the right to judge a teacher with your unreasonable yardstick. The school management is ofcourse ensuring that the parents who are paying a fee should get value for even the last penny.
The pressure on the teacher is enormous. We teachers are hardly worried about the pandemic , all we worry about day in and day out is our next virtual lesson plan . The question that torments us most is , “what if my internet doesn’t work?” ” what if my class is not given a thumbs up by my boss?” What if this and what if that.
The Corona virus has lost all it’s potency for a teacher. She or he is over and above it’s lethal sting. And so I say teachers are survivors. We know how to weather storms. We know how to rise above the tide. We have super powers and we know how to use them right. This pandemic will end one day. What will remain for a long time is this rather uncomfortable feeling of being a teacher in a locked down world.
“We don’t live in bungalows, duplexes or flats. We live in our minds.
Yes, that’s our permanent residence. And there are no constraints of square-feet there. It’s a vast space with unlimited area. And you know what! No matter how well-organized your rooms, balconies, garages and verandas are, life is good only when things are sorted there – in your mind.
And that’s where we keep things messy – regrets piling up in one corner, expectations stuffed in a closet, secrets under the carpet, worries littered everywhere, comparisons spilt on the table, complexes leaking from an old bottle, and grudges stinking in a box.
Be aware. For this ‘real home’ of yours, you can’t outsource housekeeping. You got to do it yourself and see the beauty that surrounds you when your inner being is stable. “
Yesterday There were some hate conversation going on in this group against Kerala. Being a Keralite I felt so sorry for tht…
The pregnant elephant’s death which happened in Kerala on 27th of May was really painful… but the fact is that it was not an intentional murder…. it was a trap for wild boars who destroy the crops.. ( now not justifying this ) unfortunately the elephant had consumed that.. and it’s happened in the district of Palghat but another district Malappuram was blamed for that because it’s a particular community dominated district..
Though it happened due to one or two people, I could see a hate speech and discussion going on against the entire state..
Someone commented that Malayalis though literate, doing labour job in UAE. But they don’t know that most of the firms in UAE are owned by Malayalees. And what’s wrong if people are doing labor job? They are doing something legally and not begging. U can’t see a single malayali beggars, you can’t see a malayali labourers in other states in India.. But Kerala is a home for many migrant workers from other states ( don’t want to take any state name) and we call them guest labourers. Please respect individuals and have divinity of labor, no work is bad if it is legal.
Someone mentioned Kerala as a place of love jihad but the fact is in most of such cases culprits are from other states.
I lived in many states of India and so I can say in Kerala the harmony between different religions are by far better and I never saw the same anywhere else in India. I personally involved in some charity work and have lot of the donors from the community ( highlighted) brothers and sisters.
We have political conflicts but at the time of crisis we are one, which is proved during the time of flood.
1: highest female male ratio 2: Highest literary rate 3: All festivals of different religions celebrated 4: Second least corrupted city of India 5: First state to have implemented edu reform bills 6: 100% primary education 7: Least infant morality rate… 8 Clean state
Politically aware people
Awareness of health And much more… Our state which consider daughters as goddesses and not as a burden…
I saw people cursing that floods would come, I pity for these people, how human are they when they curse such ways. We the people of Kerala stand with the state and against any false propaganda insulting any community / Our State / divinity of labour
For all those who comment without even knowing is a state please don’t till you know the complete facts .
I’m not going to name names because they’re private things, but I know when she reads this, she’ll know this is about her. When we got the biopsy results, I was with her. When she got in the car, I thought it was negative for she was calm and collected.. Then she whispered, it is positive. I couldn’t believe it. Tears welled in my eyes; she asked me not to cry. Calmly she whispered, “God is with me.” How brave you are, my favorite warrior. I will always love you! Definitely, in the most difficult moments it is that you know who your real friends are or the people who truly appreciate you. Unfortunately most friends abandon you, and only send you “good vibrations,” but by far… I decided to post this message in support of a very special person for me who fought firmly and good energy. Taught me to live every day as the best day! Now I’m looking at those who will have time to read this post until the end. This is a small test, just to see who reads and shares this! If you read everything, select “like” so I can put a thank you on your profile.Cancer is very invasive and destructive to our body. Even after finishing treatment her body continues to fight with herself trying to rebuild all the damage caused by radiation and chemotherapy. It’s a very long process. Please in honor of someone who died or is fighting cancer, or even had cancer but healed ; copy and paste. Everyone says,”if you need anything, don’t doubt it, I’ll be there for you. “So I’m going to make a challenge, I think less than half of my friends will put this on their wall. You just have to copy (not share). I want to know who I can count on. As soon as you do, write “done” in the comments.
